Last job BEFORE I got into crafting/current “real” job in addition to Luxe.
I was the education director and a product designer for Imagination Project. Before that I was the education director for Magic Scraps from its beginning through its acquisition by Advantus. In my life “B.S.” (before scrapbooking), I was a bank teller for eight years.

Clean off my desk so I can see where I’m working.

Day of the Dead skeleton figurines & nutcrackers.

Essential non-Luxe craft products:
Ranger inks & paints, Basic Gray, 7 Gypsies, Urban Lily, Cosmo Cricket, Scenic Route & Hambly Screen Prints.

Who’s your favorite “professional” crafter & why?
I always answer from my same group of friends – Debby Schuh, Teresa Collins, Ali Edwards, Tracy White, Tim Holtz, etc. So for variety’s sake I’ve decided to just pick a couple of other names that I’m digging right now: Celine Navarro, Shimelle Laine & Elsie Flannigan.

Who do you consider “responsible” for getting you started scrapbooking?
My mom got me started when I was 8 & I competed in the “Jr. Chef of Dallas” competition. We had to create a recipe scrapbook – I’ve been cutting & pasting ever since. When I got married my mother-in-law gave me a trimmer & a scrapbook starter kit from Creative Memories (she’s still a consultant).
