A bag of clothes to donate, a piece of something that *might* belong to my car, and my “laundry bag” for the dry cleaner (empty).
What’s the strangest listing in the directory of your cell phone?
“DNA” – stands for “do not answer” – it’s what I code any guy I’m no longer dating so I’m not tempted to answer when they call!
Name the top 5 musicians/groups you have been listening to lately.
I don’t tend to listen by group (iTunes is on shuffle at all times) but if I had to pick what’s been coming up the most – R.E.M., XTC, Tori Amos, The The, and Prince.
What TV series do you record?
Entourage, Big Love, Flight of the Conchords, John from Cincinnati, Grey's Anatomy, Lost, How I Met Your Mother, Desperate Housewives.
Describe your favorite shoes.
Black Cole-Haan stiletto slingbacks – they are suede with patent straps. I hated them when the saleslady brought them out to me and refused to try them on. She insisted and I’m glad she did – I could take on the WORLD in those shoes! They have been to repair three times now – and I will be heartbroken if they ever die!
Describe your purse.
At the moment, I’m carrying a tiffany blue Coach bucket bag – but I own 50 to 60 handbags so I swap out frequently.
Do you cook? What’s your specialty?
Yes. My specialty is baking – pies, cakes, cookies, you name it!

What’s your favorite weather?
Crisp cool autumn mornings that warm up to comfortable afternoons.

Atlas Shrugged for influence. Current book is Freakonomics (rereading it). Favorites would be collected works – Bret Easton Ellis and Armisted Maupin (love social fiction!)
If you had to spend a month ALONE anywhere in the world where would you choose & why?
Bali, Indonesia… it’s the perfect escape!
On the airplane I always sit in…
first class – I fly enough that my upgrades are always free!
What’s hanging on the walls of your workspace?
Lots of stuff – black and white fabric panels behind my desk, a whiteboard, a bulletin board, two diplomas, and a calendar/scrapbook.
The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is… hit the snooze bar at least twice.
What do you like on your pizza?
Pepperoni and extra cheese. (When I’m alone, I like Italian sausage, anchovies, and onions but no one else does!)

Blow off steam – I’m a mad woman. The gym and a long workout usually does the trick.

I started working for money in elementary school, but my first “taxed” job was working at Hancock Fabrics.

No tattoos, ears are pierced twice each (one set is unusable due to a college-age fetish with heavy earrings!) and I have a navel piercing that I sometimes use.

Where do you shop most often? Where is your special place to shop?
Banana Republic and White House/Black Market for clothes and Pottery Barn for interiors. Target and Central Market are my “special” places – I get such bliss from being in these stores that I sometimes go to wander just to de-stress.

Triple venti nonfat two raw sugar caramel macchiato.

Who’s your favorite “professional” crafter & why?
I adore Teesha and Tracy Moore. It was a class with Tracy in 2000 where everything just “clicked” for me artistically – and I’ve got every issue of every ‘zine that Teesha has ever published. I wouldn’t be in this industry if it weren’t for the inspiration they have given me.
Who do you consider “responsible” for getting you started scrapbooking?
My mom – she brought home a bunch of supplies one day and said “here, you might like these” – it took me a while to get hooked (try years) but I rediscovered it one day while looking for supplies for my altered art and got hooked in once I realized that the “rules” were no longer there.

Acrylic paint – for some reason, I seem to think I’m always out but I never am.
