Describe your purse. Black leather backpack with brown leather straps. I’ve carried a backpack style purse for over ten years.

Most influential book? Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Marillier – the most beautiful story of sacrifice, patience and love that I have ever read. Current book? It’s a Harry Potter summer for me. Favorite book? The Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon.
If you had to spend a month ALONE anywhere in the world where would you choose & why? Italy because of the lovely scenery and architecture, plus the language is lovely to listen to – so romantic.
What’s hanging on the walls of your workspace? Framed artwork by my children, and three framed 12x12 pages by me.
The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is… pour a cup of coffee, check my email, and surf the net.
What do you like on your pizza? Cheese and some sort of meat. NO PINEAPPLES!

Last job BEFORE I got into crafting/current “real” job in addition to Luxe. I worked in the marketing department of a telephone company. One of my job responsibilities was to design the promotional bill inserts, i.e. call waiting and call forwarding. This was before the days of the computer, so I did this using fancy fonts and an electric typewriter.
The first thing I do when I have a creative project is… touch, feel, organize, and gaze at my paper.

What was your first paying job? I sold shoes at Footlocker for two weeks. After that, I went to work in a Deli where I was known as Kelly in the Deli for five years.

Who do you consider “responsible” for getting you started scrapbooking? Myself. I am self taught and didn’t know that there were rules (i.e. archival safe) until after I had completed several albums.
